Total Solar Eclipse
August 21, 2017

On Monday, August 21, 2017, the entire continent of North America will be able to see an eclipse of the sun. Anyone within the path of totality maybe be able to see one of nature’s most awe inspiring sights – a total solar eclipse, weather-permitting of course. This path, where the moon will completely cover the sun will stretch from Salem, Oregon, through Madras, Oregon all the way to Charleston, South Carolina. Observers outside this path of totality will still see a partial solar eclipse where the moon covers part of the sun’s disk. NASA created a great website to provide a guide to this rare event.

AS OF AUGUST 18th: The fire department said we're the only campground with available sites still! We have opened a bunch more tent sites! (We've also opened a few RV/trailer sites for those who can use their RV toilet facilities (so we don't overload the porta-potties)). Remaining sites are DRY with no green grass. We also have parking spaces available. Get a site now if you want one!
